Welcome to the Michigan Multicultural Group,
This is a diverse group intended to provide support and a networking community to families of multicultural background. At the Michigan Multicultural Group, we hope families can get together, support each other, and share experiences while making lifelong friends.
While our focus is mainly for family activities, especially playdates, we will schedule outdoor activities, potluck, mom nights out, and other fun activities for all ages. If you are looking for a place to have fun, meet new friends, and learn a thing or two about other cultures, then this is perfect for you.
We do have rules that you must accept before becoming a member. This is to ensure that our group will be a pleasant place to be in. Please take a moment to read our rules and etiquettes below. Please note that by joining this group, you agree to abide by our rules and etiquettes. We would like to thank you your interest in our group.

Rules and Etiquette
Please be respectful to other members. No discrimination is allowed in this group. Please help welcome new members to the group, and greet other members when you run into them. We are in it to form a tight community, so it would help tremendously if we treat each other with respect.
You are responsible for your family. We are not responsible for the safety of your children.
We ask that you rsvp to any event that you wish to attend. Should you decide to cancel, please do so at least a day before the event so that other member may get a chance to fill in your place, especially if there is limited space.
During in-home playdate, please respect the host’ requests should they have them. This may mean how many people they can accommodate, whether you should bring snack to share, and so on.
Please be active. Members are required to participate in at least one event per month, and to host at least one event. Hosting an event is a great way to get members to know each other.
Before attending in-home playdates, members are required to attend an event held at public places. We have biweekly meet and greet that’s great for new members.
We reserve the rights to remove members who have been inactive for quite a long time. You may remove yourself from the group should you feel this group no longer meets your expectation. We certainly hope you’ll never do that
